We’re thrilled to introduce you to the Inclusive Postsecondary Education (IPSE) Association, an emerging membership organization for professionals and advocates in the field of IPSE. The ISPE Association will be a new community dedicated to increasing access to quality, inclusive postsecondary education for people with intellectual disability. As we prepare for our official launch, we want to ensure that the benefits and services we offer are shaped by the voices of those doing the work and being impacted by the work—you.

Our purpose is clear: to build a strong, inclusive community that advances knowledge, supports advocacy, and develops leaders in the field of IPSE. We are guided by four core pillars:

  • Building Community: Creating a vibrant network of professionals and advocates at the international, national, regional, state, and local levels.
  • Fostering Partnerships: Cultivating collaboration between organizations and initiatives to advance equitable higher education opportunities.
  • Providing Professional Development: Offering training, mentorship, and resources to support those working in IPSE.
  • Advancing Leadership and Advocacy: Empowering our community to lead and advocate for meaningful change in higher education systems.

We are proud to be launching this initiative in partnership with Think College and the Taishoff Center at Syracuse University.

To ensure we’re meeting the real needs of the field, we invite you to complete a short survey. Your input will directly shape the programs, resources, and opportunities we prioritize for our members.
